Where is the Meetin-in-the-Middle Event held at? Council Bluffs, Iowa and will be hosted by Edwards Motorsports, 1010 34th Ave.
What is “Meetin-in-the-Middle”? A vintage Japanese motorcycle event including a show (VJMC) open to all Japanese motorcycles 20 years (2005) or older hosted by the Kansas City Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. This event draws attendees from many surrounding states and in 2025 will be its 6th year.
When is the Event? June 19-21, 2025.
Thursday June 19: “Bikes on the 100 Block” event in downtown Council Bluffs, a summer time monthly ride-in, park & display of motorcycles of all types from 5-8pm. A dedicated parking for VJMC motorcycles will be provided, bike load in from 2-5pm. Nearby cafes and live music is available for your enjoyment.
Friday June 20: Ride the back roads of Iowa. Time and place TBD, likely mid-afternoon. That evening a meet & greet dinner will be held in downtown Council Bluffs at 6:30pm, location TBD.
Saturday June 21: Bike Show at Edwards Motorsports. Load in bikes from 8-9:30am. Show hours are 10am to 2pm. There will be show awards (15 award categories), food, giveaways and some great deals on items at Edwards Motorsports. Following the show there will be the opportunity to visit the “Kamikaze Museum” owned by Rick Chase, located near Glenwood Iowa, approximately 25 miles from Council Bluffs. That evening will be a dinner at Toby Jack’s in nearby Mineola, Iowa
Lodging? A limited number of rooms are available approximately 15 miles southeast of the Event at the Arthur Hotel, 707 South Locust St, Glenwood, Iowa 51534, direct PH # 712-527-3175. These rooms are first come/first serve until May 19 with no guarantee of availability thereafter. Room rates range $100 to $120 per night before taxes. Please call the hotel direct for these rates and reference the KCVJMC Meetin-in-the-Middle event. Safe parking is available for vehicles/trailers.
