Where is the Meetin-in-the-Middle Event held at? Council Bluffs, Iowa and will be hosted by Edwards Motorsports, 1010 34th Ave.
What is “Meetin-in-the-Middle”? A vintage Japanese motorcycle event including a show (VJMC) open to all Japanese motorcycles 20 years (2006) or older hosted by the Kansas City Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. This event draws attendees from many surrounding states and in 2026 will be its 8th year.
When is the Event? August 20-22, 2026.
Thursday : “Bikes on the 100 Block” event in downtown at 100 Block Broadway, Council Bluffs, Iowa, a summer time monthly ride-in, park & display of motorcycles of all types from 5:00-9:00pm. A reserved parking spot for VJMC motorcycles and booth will be provided at the Edwards Motorsports booth in front of the Barleys Bar & Grill, 114 W Broadway. Suggest arriving by 4:00pm to secure your space. Numerous other cafes and live music are available for your enjoyment.
Friday : Motorcycle auction at the Kamikaze Motorcycle Museum, near Glenwood Iowa. Owner Rich Chase is allowing pre-auction viewing Wednesday & Thursday. It may be possible to bring your motorcycles/parts and join the auction or swap meet; details to follow.
VJMC Dinner Meet & Greet Friday evening, details pending.
Saturday : Bike Show at Edwards Motorsports from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Awards at approximately 1:30pm. Truck/trailer parking will be available. Load in bikes 8:30-9:00 am. Lunch and drinks will be made available.
