Where is the Meetin-in-the-Middle Event held at? ST JOE POWERSPORTS 2207 N Belt Hwy, St Joseph Missouri, 64506. Event dates are July 12-14, 2024.

What is “Meetin-in-the-Middle”? A vintage Japanese motorcycle show (VJMC) open to all Japanese motorcycles 20 years (2005) or older hosted by the Kansas City Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. This event draws attendees from many surrounding states and currently in its 5th year.

When does it start? For early arrivals, a Friday afternoon (July 12) ride along with a meet & greet dinner afterwards.

Lodging? Stoney Creek Hotel, 1201 N Woodbine Road, St Joseph, MO 64506. Guests must call the hotel 816-901-9600 and mention the “Meetin-in-the-Middle” for discount rates. Deadline on discount rate is June 12th. Stoney Creek Hotel is approximately 1/2 mile from the Meetin-in-the-Middle Event. Trailer parking is available.

When does the Show start? Saturday morning (July13) load in from 8:00 – 9:30am. Show starts at 10:00am; ends at approximately 2 PM.

Show Awards? Yes at 1:30pm.

Is Parking available? Yes.

Food available? Yes. Food truck and several restaurants are nearby.

Shade & water available? Yes. Inside Dealership showroom.

Friday activities– Afternoon local ride from 4:30-6:00pm beginning at Stoney Creek Hotel and ending at Boudreaux’s Cajun Restaurant downtown at 6:00pm or meet at Stoney Creek Hotel at 5:45pm and ride/drive directly to Boudreaux’s for meet & greet dinner.

Saturday activities after Show– 2:30pm ride is being planned ending late afternoon with dinner at Bandanas BBQ.

Sunday activities– Anyone that wishes to ride down to (or meet at) Blip Roasters in Kansas City West Bottoms can meetup at 9:00am, July 14, at QT Platte City (Quiktrip Store #236). Blip Sunday Meetup is about 45 minute ride from Platte City. Blip has a huge (200+) bike turnout on Sunday mornings (weather permitting) and is really something to see and ride to!

Sunday option: Weston Missouri, is a historic river town 30 minutes away with plenty of cafe’s, shopping, local crafts, distillery, coffee, wine and cigar bars along a downtown area founded in 1837. Plenty of historic places to visit and explore.

Local points of interest in St. Joe– Restaurants, entertainment, museums, shopping, etc.
